Think the thoughts once forbidden,
Feel the feelings once told to hide,
Contemplate the unimagined,
In those shadows, freedom resides.
About me
I am Chin Yuen Ng (Victor)
I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor based in London, proud to be born and raised in Hong Kong before relocating to the UK.
In my experience within the NHS, I have witnessed many meaningful transformations, gaining valuable skills to support a diverse range of people through difficult times. I bring both this professional experience and my own life insights into our sessions, supporting you with compassion and genuine companionship as you navigate your path forward.
My own journey of relocating, experiencing social unrest, and navigating life as a sexual minority has given me a deeper understanding of diversity and individuality. These experiences motivate me to bring these elements into my counselling practice, supporting others as they find their own unique paths.
My Counselling Belief
While no one is perfect, each person is already perfect in their own unique way. Embracing our individuality allows us to recognise our strengths and areas for growth as part of our unique journey, helping us unlock potential we may not have previously realised. Counselling isn’t a magic wand, but it can open doors to new possibilities—sometimes beyond what we’d imagined—broadening our choices and helping us find light even in challenging times.
My counselling approach centres on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely supported and understood as we work together through life’s challenges. My goal is to help you feel safe, respected, and heard to share your life story openly and explore your authentic self. Through this process, you’ll have the chance to deepen your self-awareness and recognise and embrace every part of who you are. This experience encourages self-acceptance and compassion, promoting healing and helping you break through personal barriers to live a fulfilling, unique life.
